This week, year 12 and 13 students from the academy teamed up to launch a food bank collection. The initiative, which they are co-ordinating across the whole school, is being organised as part of their community project.
They also announced that sixth formers will be taking part in ‘Decades Day’ on 3rd December, where they will be dressing up and fundraising for Alzheimer’s.
The work is part of the current sixth form theme of ‘community’, which is inspiring students to think about how they can make a positive difference both inside and outside of the academy.
